Stagecombatonline.com offers instructional video lessons in De Longis Performance & Combat Arts. All people practicing techniques provided by the content of stagecombatonline.com (henceforth referred to as ‘students’) expressly agree as follows:
That while practicing any techniques or concepts provided, the student hereby releases and agrees to hold harmless stagecombatonline.com, Kendall Wells, Anthony De Longis, as well as their instructors and assistants, from any claims for damages or losses of any kind. Such damages and/or losses could include, but are not be limited to, claims for personal injury, negligence occurring in, or arising out of training (including but not limited to broken props, and other faults which may include loss of life), property damages, resulting from use of techniques and concepts provided on stagecombatonline.com.
Further, the student understands and agrees that stagecombatonline.com and Kendall Wells provides training in theatrical swordsmanship and various methods of theatrical violence, and that the student’s participation in these studies will involve inherent risks in the practice and/or performance of such study. The student, in the face of such knowledge of the risks, hereby expressly assumes such risks and agrees to waive any rights to any claims, damages, or loss, and to hold harmless stagecombatonline.com, Kendall Wells, Anthony De Longis, and its instructors and assistants, and/or any of its authorized agents from liability in regard to the aforementioned personal injury and/or property damages that may result from the use of techniques and / or concepts provided.
The student further agrees to waive any rights to any damages or losses, and hold harmless stagecombatonline.com, Kendall Wells, Anthony De Longis, their instructors and assistants, and/or any of its authorized agents from any claims that may result from the conduct of any of other students or participants in the aforementioned programs, in regard to but not limited to any personal injuries, torts, or crimes of any type or kind – whether as a result of one-on-one coaching, or through anything that may have been directly or indirectly learned or demonstrated as part of a program of stagecombatonline.com
Furthermore, by participating in the aforementioned programs and lessons, the student indicates that they have fully read and fully understand this waiver of liability.
